The Gran Fondo Curacaví (GFC) aims to return in full force on Sunday, April 19, 2026, for its fifth edition, consolidating its position as one of the most prominent and highly anticipated cycling events on the national sports calendar.

Since its first edition, the GFC has brought together hundreds of cyclists from all over Chile on a route that combines unique landscapes, a sporting challenge, high-level production, and an unforgettable experience for the entire family.

This fifth edition promises to exceed all expectations with new surprises, logistical improvements, and a spectacular route through the valleys and hills of Curacaví.

One of the event’s greatest milestones has been the growing female presence at the start: in 2025, women represented nearly 20% of the total number of entrants, and for 2026, the goal is to continue paving the way, promoting female inclusion and participation in road cycling.

Public and private support, key to growth

Race organizers point to the commitment of public institutions and brands committed to the development of the sport as two key factors in the success of the GFC.

This year, 2025, the event enjoyed the joint support of the Santiago Government and the Municipality of Curacaví, reinforcing its status as a sustainable, inclusive, and high-standard event for participants and attendees.

Similarly, sponsorship from brands such as Cervecerías Kross, Giant, Carozzi, Garmin, Mall Sport, Cachantún, Gatorade, Guallarauco, among others, has been instrumental in elevating the event’s quality.

What’s coming up at the 2026 GFC
