PADRE HURTADO – ALGARROBO

Beach, this way, going back no way... A sweet ride to leave stress behind.
This tour begins at Padre Hurtado sector, which is reached through Route 78.

From here we will begin our journey. We will cross two slopes, the Barriga slope and the Ibacache slope, we will pedal through the rural area of María Pinto where we will find long planes to ride in a group along with beautiful landscapes. Finally, we will leave the Metropolitan region to enter the Valparaíso region, where we will come across the picturesque town of Casablanca to go around the Las Dichas sector and pedaling along the coastal area until we reach the Algarrobo yacht club where a delicious lunch awaits us, surprises and more activities. It will be a demanding tour but with spectacular landscapes that are worth everything, ending on the beach with some well-deserved reward beers!

ROUTE ITINERARY

Today we’ll ride on through the forested heart of the Petit Luberon, peering out across the valley floor with its patchwork of orchards and vineyards. Enjoy views from the wealthy and picturesque village of Bonnieux, and stop for a cappuccino in Lacoste. We’ll learn about Côtes du Luberon wines in a domaine near Ménerbes, then enjoy a lovely picnic prepared by your guides. This afternoon, we spin to Roussillon to admire the local artists’ colorful creations in the town’s many galleries. Later, transfer to the small village of Robion and meet our dear friend Veronique. In her home kitchen, we’ll learn to cook classic Provençal dishes, then sample our creations on Veronique’s charming terrace.
